Trendy Tot Tuesday: Park Time!

I can't believe its already Tuesday again! The good thing is that means its time for Trendy Tot Tuesday again though! Im having a lot of fun seeing everyones blogs and am so glad I found out about this via Table For Three.

This past week the sun started bringing some warmth with it and it was amazing! We didn't have to bundle up too much for our daily park visits. I know anyone who is reading this and lives in a truly cold area is probably laughing at me since where I live in California it doesn't really get too cold. 

Baby Z's top and knickers are from Janie & Jack. They were purchased on sale as with EVERYTHING I purchase from Janie & Jack. Never pay full price as all their items go on sale. 

Ribbed knit tights are from Baby Gap. I love the color of them. I am always on the lookout for unique colored baby tights that are under $20!

Nude flats are from Baby Gap and I am adoring them! They are a fairly recent purchase and so worth it as I have a hard time finding simple shoes that are easy to pair with any outfit. These answer that problem! They are easily the best pair of shoes I have purchased for her.

The Duck Pond...

 Took Baby Z to the local duck pond/park today. Perfect way to spend a sunny February 1st.

 When it comes to photographing a 20 month old, its best to just let them do their thing. If they wander around, capture it. If they sit on a bench, if they run like crazy or even if they eat the bread you were supposed to be feeding the ducks...just capture it. Capturing the natural moments are some of my favorite photos to take.

BEDA Day 4: Better Late Than Never

Disney was a blast! It was super hot in Anaheim but we managed to get by courtesy of the likes of Mickey, Bugslife rides and pure Disney magic. BEDA and VEDA were harmed in the process but I will be playing catch up. Besides its better late than never.:

Play Date For Two...

Being a working mom in a city full of daytime only playdates leads to lots of park time play dates for two. Baby Z and me are finally getting a chance to enjoy the lingering sunlight after I get off work in the form of walking to the park for some one on one playtime. I cannot wait until the sun decides to visit us a little longer. I currently get home from work and literally whip out the stroller faster than you can say stroller. I dont even change out of my work clothes, I just grab up Baby Z and away we go for our play date for two.

As a full time working mom I miss out on pretty much all organized play dates and little gyms. I wish I had the time to organize a weekend play date in my area. I will try to get on this! But in the mean time I try to provide Baby Z with as much park time, play time and family time as I can. Here is to fast stroller walks, setting suns and the love we all feel for our little ones.
