Holiday Snowman Cookies...

Posted by Unknown at 10:22 PM 0 comments

Thanks to a certain...ahem...Disney Flick, snowmen are all the rage at all times now. This holiday I think it would be super fun to hone in on some snowman themed cookies/candies/desserts since it will definitely peak the interest of the littles and because they are just so darn cute. This Melting Snowman Oreo Cookie ball from Cookies & Cups looks amazing and would be a good holiday themed project to do with the little ones.

These uber adorable melting snowman cookies are easy to whip up in a pinch and let the littles decorate to their Olafs content..errr... I mean hearts content. I found these cute guys over at Swanky Recipes.

Last but not least I love this unique twist on a holiday snowman cookie. Its a snowflake with an adorable snowman face. Kids and adults alike will love this and all you need is a snowflake cookie cutter and some polka dot making skills.  You can read about these guys over at Redbook.

Here is to yummy, scrumptious, kid pleasing snowman cookies! XoXo.

Trendy Tot Tuesday: Holiday Pajama Picks

Posted by Unknown at 11:18 PM 0 comments
Baby Gap Classic Pjs.
Holiday pjs are one of those unnecessary yet so necessary clothing items! Who can resist the warm, fuzzy, cozy and festive prints of holiday pajamas? I know I can't! My go to for these festive fancies are most always Baby Gap and if you want to go all out...Crewcuts by Jcrew.

I am a big fan of these North Pole pjs by Baby Gap since they can definitely be unisex meaning you can buy for brother and sister so they can be matching.

These balsam green footed pjs by Baby Gap are another one that I personally think would be so cute as a unisex pajama outfit that would be so fun to have all children wearing on Christmas morning or all December long.

Okay these Crewcuts Christmas Lights pajamas are truly the mother of all festive holiday pjs! They actually glow in the dark giving the effect of the lights actually lighting up. You will pay a pretty penny for these but they look so worth it! They are currently 30% off here.

Last but not least are another festive favorite from none other than Baby Gap again. I like the simplicity of these and I am a sucker for anything 'snow themed' seeing as I am in a part of Northern Cali that never gets snow!

This post is inspired and brought to you by Trendy Tot Tuesday which is a super fun link up blog that you can find more information about from Table For Three.

Winter Whites...

Posted by Unknown at 11:21 PM 0 comments
Winter whites look so good against the traditional colors of this time of year. Cranberry reds and forest greens look even more festive when accented by wintery whites.

You can either accent your attire with these festive colors or find  a nice backdrop! Either way who says us mommas and our littles can't wear white after Labor Day? Because we sure do!
Dress is by Old Navy.
Tights are by Next.
Gold Glitter Sandals are by Zara.

Holiday Gift Idea : Wooden Toy Rainbow

Posted by Unknown at 12:33 AM 0 comments
Seriously how cool is this wooden toy rainbow? I love the concept of using it to not only just for play but to teach colors and arranging/sorting sizes.
I also love the idea of supporting a small business during the holidays by purchasing such unique gifts. This piece is so pretty I think I would be tempted to place it on a shelf as a decor piece!
I found this wooden toy from ImaginationKids on Etsy. They make a ton of other amazing quality and super adorable wooden toys as well. Definitely worth checking out for your holiday shopping.

Mini Cupcake Carousel...

Posted by Unknown at 11:50 PM 0 comments

Last week in Joanns Fabrics I spotted this adorable Egg Carousel in the Easter section. It is of course meant to hold eggs however I thought it would be a super cute way to hold mini cupcakes! Thus I purchased it at its 40% discount price (still going on, on all their holiday themed items) and happily brought it home. I think it looks super adorable with the cupcakes in it and probably looks equally adorable with colored eggs in it for Easter as well. I used it for my Welcome Little Sweetie party.
I am LOVING Joanns holiday themed items. They are super precious and pretty much never full priced.

You can check out the banner I made for my Welcome Little Sweetie Party.

Irish Baby Boy Names...

Photo from  here.

In honor of Saint Patricks day being right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to do some Irish themed posts over the next week. Lets kick it off with some Irish baby boy names! I picked my top 5 irish baby boy names. What are yours?

1. Ardan
Pronounced as are+dawn. Comes from the word ardenach meaning high aspiration.

2. Lorcan
  Means silent or fierce.

3. Niall
Prounounced as nye+al. Thought to mean passionate or vehement.

4. Quinlan
A surname that is now used as a first name and means athletic or gentle shaped.

5. Ronan
I couldn't find an exact meaning on this name but did learn it comes from an old legend about a seal.

Hope you all are having a lovely day! Girls names to come tomorrow. XoXo

Be My Valentine Baby Photo Shoot Ideas 2013

Posted by Unknown at 1:18 PM 0 comments
Its already that time of year again where I start conjuring up images in my mind (err...I mean...scouring Pinterest) for Valentines themed photo shoot ideas. Most of these images would be easy to re-create and add your own touch to. Or you can save the links and show them to your prospective photographers. Unable to locate original source for this photo.

How adorable is this for a sibling photo shoot? If you were doing this yourself, the only expense would be the ballons, the bucket (which you could find at Wal-Mart) and a piece of paper for your sign. Link.

Here is an equally cute yet super budget friendly idea. Put on your fav red lipstick and give your little cuties some kisses. This would make a cute Valentines Day card for family and friends. Link.

Super cute and easy to recreate, you can use this theme for either a baby boy or girl. I found this one on Pinterest but was not able to locate its original source.

Don't want to do the typical pink hearts and red kisses? Hang up a sheet and make a burlap or paper bag banner with the word of your choice on it. It makes for a cute non-traditional themed Valentines photo. Link

Check back for more fun Valentines themed posts!

BlogOween: Candy Corn Cupcakes

Posted by Unknown at 5:51 PM 0 comments

With Halloween right around the corner (which I seriously dont know how that happened) I thought it would be fun to do a lot more Halloween themed type blog posts. Of course I need to give it a fun name as well...BlogOween it is. And what better way to kick this off than with cupcakes...yum.

Via Pinterest

Unlike the first photo I think I might actually be able to pull this one off. Simple yet festive and cute.

Hmmm...I may be able to pull this one off...just need some good ole food coloring.

Okay, this has got to be the Over Achievement Candy Corn Cupcake...at least that is what I would call it. This seriously is a candy corn covered strawberry on top of a Halloween cupcake...whew....

Sweet Easter Treats...

Posted by Unknown at 8:50 PM 0 comments
Pinterest never ceases to amaze me. The things I find on their showcase such amazing talent. Here are my top picks for amazingly sweet looking and Easter treats.

Rainbow colored Jello Eggs. How brilliant is that? And if you are on a diet (like me) you could even make them with sugar free Jello! Source.

So that's what to do with all those Peeps I get but never eat during Easter season! Source unknown as the Pinterest link for this item did not work.

These adorable bunny cookies have a distinct vintage vibe going on. Would be amazing for a vintage'esqe Easter themed gathering/party/birthday. Source.

Simple and chick..er chic. Would be fun to make these as a vanilla cupcake with lemon creme frosting. Source.

Yay! Here is one for us adults. Chocolate mousse in golden egg cups designed by Wolfgang Puck. Easter Couture.

Be My Valentine: Baby Photo Shoot Ideas Part 2

Posted by Unknown at 10:58 PM 1 comments
                                                 Photo found here.

The Valentine's themed outfit that I ordered off of Etsy arrived yesterday. I'm in love with it! It came out better than I expected. Soon as I am able to take some pictures of it I will post them on here for you guys to see. In the meantime I have still be scouring different sources to come up with ideas for little photo session. I have so much fun planning out these little photo shoots. Here are some more pictures that I have found inspiring.

I love the look and concept of this photo. It could easily be adapted by a mom of 2 little ones or for two little friend, cousins, daddy and daughter etc... Don't know if this one will work for me but I wanted to share regardless because I found it to be so charming.

I'm a sucker for balloons. Make them red shiny heart balloons and i'm sold.

Massively puffy tutu....Valentines perfection for a little girl.

This concept would be cute for a little boy or girl. Put them in a cute neutral outfit and hand them bright colored sweets. Voila.

xoxo.

Be My Valentine: Baby Photo Shoot Ideas...

Posted by Unknown at 9:45 PM 2 comments
I've already got my thinking cap on in regards to Valentine's Day photo shoot ideas for my little one. I'll admit I also already ordered her overly ruffled and pink Valentines day outfit as well. Oh yeah, it is coming with a matching hair bow. It could be worse...I could have ordered multiple outfits in order to have numerous outfit changes for the Valentines Day photo shoot I am dreaming of. Hmmm, that's not a bad idea...I may have to look into it. Here for now are my inspirations....
I love the simplicity of this photo. Would be easy, budget friendly and fun. You could go all out with the onsie, perhaps add a tutu or some cute baby legs or you could do like the photo and keep it simple yet festive.

The two above photos are so sweet, literally. Its conjuring up candy striped images in my head. The possibilities here are endless and all equally adorable. Especially if you have more than one little cutie on hand.

Their is something so whimsical and calling about this photo. It makes me want to incorporate this letters/mailbox theme into a Valentine themed photo shoot for my little one.

Will you be taking any Valentines themed photos of your little one or having them professionally done? What images dance around in your head?

Elf On A Shelf: Current Addiction

Posted by Unknown at 12:08 AM 0 comments
How did I not know about Elf on a Shelf before this holiday season? How did I miss out on such a cute tradition? I have no clue how I had never heard of this but now that I have, its sort of become a Pinterest fueled addition. I confess, I sit on Pinterest looking at others peoples cleverly staged Elf locations wishing I had known about this before. Next holiday season I am so buying myself this little guy. I am so adopting an Elf, registering him online and placing him on way more than just a shelf. Are you like me and never heard of Elf On A Shelf? Here is some handy information.

In the meantime enjoy my favorite Elf On A Shelf pictures that I got from....yes, Pinterest.

Is Elf On A Shelf incorporated into your holiday tradition?
