I never used to be one for gummy vitamins. They just seemed so, well, kiddy to me. Then I discovered VitaFusion PreNatals gummies and I kissed my old gigantic traditional pills goodbye. These not only taste amazing but they have no questionable ingredients which is super important to me. For a full lowdown on these chewy candy like vitamins check out the video above.

I have recently embraced my inner vlogger and put up multiple vloggings this week. =) I have accepted that 1. Yes I love doing videos/vlogs for Youtube.

Documenting Weight Loss...

 

Earlier in the year I let you guys know that I needed to loose weight for various reasons. For starters I have PCOS, secondly I will be TTC for #2 later on in the year and third because its just what needs to be done. Its a battle though. I decided to start documenting the process with quick vlogs. Not only will this give me something to look back on but it pressures me ( in a good way ) to stay on track and make substantial progress since I will be uploading them for anyone to view. I wont be posting them on this blog regurlary unless that is something that is requested so if you wish to follow along with me you can check them out on my YouTube channel here.

2012 TTC Game Plan...

With the new year comes new and exciting plans. TTC plans to be exact. TTC for baby #2 to be even more exact. Its so much fun to start thinking about trying to conceive my second little munchkin. Visions of BFP's, nursery decorating and name picking all dance around my head. But then I remember I have PCOS. Oh that's right...I also remember it took almost 3 years to conceive baby #1. Bummer.

So to up my chances and to aid in a future pregnancy being the healthiest it can be I have a simple game plan.

First, I must loose weight. This is very important to me as I know it effects my PCOS and general health. I need to loose a good 25 lbs before I can even begin to think about trying. I want to loose weight in a healthy manner meaning exercising and eating as many natural unprocessed foods as possible. Soda must be eliminated.

Second, I must start taking prenatal vitamins again. I have not once popped a vitamin since the birth of my daughter 7 months ago. Bad, I know.

Third, I must ensure that I have a positive outlook on life in general. Being positive will lead to not only a better life but a more stress free life. The more stress free you are the higher your chances of conceiving. 

Sounds simple but I know it will be hard. So lastly I must keep in mind that getting through difficult tasks brings great rewards.

What I am liking NOW: Skip Hop

Lately I have been loving the whimiscal cuteness of Skip Hop baby products. I dont know what it is about their owl themed baby items but they have me hooked. I am thinking of purchasing this adorable owl playtime toy simply because it is so cute and different. The Skip Hop website states that this toy ( which also comes in a lamb, bear, dog and monkey ) features 10 different developmental activies to keep your little one entertained. Score.

I am also eyeing this owl themed playmat. Too bad I hadn't seen this when I was preganant. Just look at all that owl cuteness.

I am currently in the market for a bath spout cover as well. I was going to get their infamous Moby the whale bath spout but now Ducky here is looking pretty tempting as well. Hmmmm....

Im loving these adorable farmhouse stackable blocks they have too. Im telling you guys this company is my current baby products obsession and I don't even own anything from them yet.

Mommy Shopping Haul : TJ Maxx

With all the shopping I do for my little pumpkin or for my friends and families little ones, its fun to just shop for me sometimes! I'll admit that today was one of those days that I shopped for little things for me, myself and I. I love shopping for home goodies at TJ Maxx. You can find a lot of hidden treasures there. Its basically a huge conglomerate of goods from many different stores. Today I found a hand towel holder for my guest bathroom for only $7.99 and I got two Ralph Lauren hand towels for the holder for only $3.50 each. They originally retailed for $12.99 each. I love a discount on good quality items!

Next up on my TJ Maxx run today I discovered this unique metal J. Raymond potpourri holder complete with turquoise potpourri and various sea shells. It is pretty good sized and smells amazing!! This one is going in my bathroom. I got it for $16.99 and it originally retails for around $40.00.

Of course I couldn't help but stop "briefly" by the baby section. =) I found various adorable girl outfits all for under $9.00 each. And im so excited to tell you guys I found a three piece nautical canvas artwork set from Baby Gap for only $7.00. I dont even have a little boy but I had to have this! I always told myself that when I have a little boy one day I want to do his nursery in a nautical theme.

I really had to steer clear of the kitchen section but I saw organic boutique cupcake mixes out of the corner of one eye and Le Creseut tea kettles out of my other eye! I also saw a ton of Halloween Decor at such discounted prices and Halloween isn't even until the end of next month! If you have a TJ Maxx in your area check it out, your bound to find some " hidden treasures".

Weightloss Wednesday: Week 2

I know its up a day late but I didn't have a chance to do much of anything yesterday! Better late than never though. I lost 4 pounds during week 1. Yay! Have a long ways to go though and its not easy. However, I have PCOS and want to TTC for #2 sometime next year and if I am to do that I need to get healthy! Have to keep the goal in sight!
